EMILY RYDER is a Toronto-based writer, narrative filmmaker, and commercial producer who is great at her job, but terrible at updating this website!
As a creative, she is drawn to stories that explore the complexity of intergenerational relationships through the lens of queer becoming and womanhood. As a producer, she is drawn to collaborators who care as deeply as she does about the work they’re putting on screen and the people they’re hiring to make it happen.
Outside of her personal work, she currently manages a team of editors at Leo Burnett Canada, where she works as a post producer (and sometimes internal line producer).
When she’s not doing all of that, you will most likely find her telling jokes on stages around the city.
