My name is EMILY RYDER and I am a writer, narrative filmmaker, and commercial producer from Toronto who is great at my job, but terrible at updating this website!

As a creative, I’m drawn to stories that explore the complexity of intergenerational relationships through the lens of queer becoming and womanhood.

As a producer, I’m drawn to collaborators who care as deeply as I do about the work they’re putting on screen and the people they’re hiring to make it happen.

Outside of my personal and freelance projects, I recently joined Scotiabank as their Manager of Video Production. And before that, I was producing over at Leo Burnett Canada.

When I’m not busy making videos, you’ll most likely find me making a fool out of myself on stages around the city (I do improv).
